Letter from our President:
The Danville Schools Alumni Association was formed in 1997 to provide a membership organization to involve, unite and support alumni, current students and friends of the Danville Schools in continuation of Danville’s traditions of excellence.
There is immense potential for active involvement of alumni in the mainstream life of the Danville Schools. Because of their experiences, graduates can best promote the ideals and values of the district to the outside community. Therefore, graduation represents the continuation of a strong relationship with the Danville Schools.
Mission: to support the students of Danville Schools as they progress through elementary, middle and high school.Goal: to support Danville students by providing: 1) scholarships to graduating seniors, 2) tutoring for at risk children; and assisting in the funding of programs that will make sure that all Danville students have the best education possible.
Annually the Danville Alumni Association gives a $1,000 scholarship to a DHS graduate; supports the Plummer 5K Run, Project Graduation, etc. To keep supporting these programs, and to develop new ones, your help is needed.
Lifetime members: when you are making plans for your estate, don’t forget the Danville Schools Alumni Association.
